Excess skin is removed through the fold under the abdomen and the abdominal wall is repaired. In this way, excess fat tissue and skin are removed, and the abdomen and waist area are thinned, shaped and body contours are revealed.

Abdominal wall repair (rectus plication) provides further slimming by repairing the abdominal muscles in addition to fat tissue.
