BRAZILIAN BUTT AESTHETICS

Other names of this procedure, which is famous as Brazilian butt; "brazilian butt lift, BBL, butt aesthetics, butt augmentation, butt lift, butt lift surgery", but BBL is most commonly used among them. In butt aesthetics, two procedures are used: one is butt-specific prosthesis application and the second and more common procedure is the procedure performed with fat injection.

People who do not have fat tissue suitable for this procedure may be a suitable candidate for prosthesis. The buttock implants are inserted under the muscle tissue through two incisions made in the fold between the buttocks. The following problems may be encountered in healing: wound separation, infection, bleeding, fluid accumulation, rotation of the prosthesis inside, injury to the nerves or vessels in this area. In the long term, these prostheses can loosen the pocket they are in and cause sagging. Here we will talk about butt aesthetics with fat transfer (injection), which we like more, which is more trouble-free and which we think has better results.

We aesthetic plastic surgeons are very lucky to be able to perform this procedure. We enlarge and shape the butt to the extent we want, and at the same time, we perform thinning procedures on the waist and leg area, which makes the butt look more beautiful, and create these attractive curves. However, of course, as in every procedure, there are some risks in butt aesthetics and some of these risks are quite serious. We can anticipate the kind of questions you may have here:

Without further ado, let's get to the answers to these questions. First of all, let's take a look at the surgical technique. First of all, we take fat from the places adjacent to the butt, and while doing this, we both provide thinning by getting rid of excess fat here, and we obtain the raw material of the fat we will give to the butt. Then we enrich and purify the fat from stem cells by processing it. There is very little risk so far. The risks start at the stage of giving the oil. There are two areas on the butt. One of them is above the muscle and the other is above and below the muscle. The area above the muscle is the subcutaneous fat layer. It is safe to administer the fat here. The area under the muscle and muscle is a region rich in veins, and delivery of fat here carries the risk of fat escaping into the veins and causing fat embolism. So, the first point to be considered is to stay in the safe zone and not to give fat to the muscle area. The latest studies and our experience show that the fat given to this safe plan also gives good aesthetic results. What are the other points that the surgeon should pay attention to? The position given to the patient during fat delivery is very important, the appropriate position reduces the risk. Giving more fat than it can take increases the pressure again and increases the risk of the fat entering the vein. This should also be very careful. In some cases, support with anti-coagulant or anti-thrombotic drugs that prevent blood clotting is necessary. The way of administering the oil is also important; the oil should be administered in large pieces and with a cannula while pulling the cannula back. Compression stockings help prevent deep vein thrombosis in the legs during surgery. If these rules are observed, the risks of Buttock Reshaping (BBL) are minimized.

Well, okay, but is it worth having this surgery with all these risks?  Many women are extremely happy with the surgery and they get the body curves and butt they have always dreamed of. Good information and patient-doctor communication are very important here. The procedure, size and shape should be discussed and discussed before the procedure. Restrictions should be mentioned. After everything is discussed and patient-doctor trust is established, patients can safely undergo surgery.

So will it be the way I want it? BBL, or butt aesthetics, is one of the surgeries that both doctors and patients are the happiest and most satisfied with. After a good consultation and examination, the shape and size that is suitable for you is decided. If you smoke, it is necessary to quit at least two weeks before the procedure and should not be used for 6 months after surgery. Of course, it is best for us not to smoke at all. Smoking reduces the viability of the transferred fat tissue and negatively affects the success of the surgery.  A special corset should be used for 1 month after the procedure.
