Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Problems with the breast can be small and large breasts as well as sagging breasts. So why do our breasts sag? There are two most important answers to this: 1- breastfeeding 2- aging. During pregnancy, the breasts fill with milk, grow and deflate when breastfeeding is over. Especially when this situation repeats several times, no matter how fit the rest of our body is, there is a sagging in the breasts. With age, as the connective tissue and skin in the breast give way, the erect breasts of youth are replaced by loose and saggy breasts. In addition, at the end of these processes, there is often a serious loss of volume in the breast.
This leads to visual self-doubt, lack of self-confidence and difficulties in intimate relationships. They want to regain their sense of femininity. Fortunately, this is possible thanks to plastic surgery. In breast lift, also known as mastopexy (masto = breast, peksi = hanging, lifting), the excess skin of the breast that has loosened is removed, if the nipple is enlarged, it is brought to the size it should be, and the nipple is moved upwards. If there is also volume loss in the breast, the volume lost is restored with a prosthesis or stem cell-rich fat injection. Of these, we use breast prosthesis more frequently. We call this procedure breast augmentation and lift or "augmentation mastopexy".
It is a procedure with a high recovery rate and a low level of pain (prosthetic stitches may be a little more painful, responds very well to painkillers and ends in 2-3 days). The patient can return to his/her daily life the next day. It is necessary to use a medical bra for a while after the procedure.
It is possible to regain the erect and beautiful breasts of your youth.
