Manual Fue technique requires a delicate touch, physical endurance, excellent hand-eye coordination and hand motor skills.
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
FUE is the technique used in the extraction of grafts in hair transplantation and is the latest development in the field of hair transplant surgery.
In the FUE technique, grafts are taken from the donor area (the area between the two ears where hair will be harvested) using micro punches.
The FUE technique allows a large number of grafts to be harvested without any scarring in the donor area. In the FUE technique, no incision is made on the scalp.
FUE technique allows more grafts to be harvested / extracted compared to other techniques. FUE technique increases the number of grafts to be transplanted compared to other techniques and allows the patient to have a more dense hair.
Benefits of FUE Technique:
- It requires no stitches and leaves no permanent scarring.
- It provides a comfortable and short healing process.
- Generally, edema and bruising do not occur.
- There is almost no pain after the operation.
- Post-operative activity is less limited and daily life can be resumed.
- Maximum number of grafts can be removed.
- The patient can wear his/her hair as long or short as he/she wishes.
MANUEL FUE
MANUAL FUE technique, extraction of grafts one by one without leaving any scars in the donor area, with optimum number and quality
process.
Manual FUE technique requires a sensitive touch, physical endurance, excellent hand-eye coordination and hand motor skills.
Extraction with the manual FUE technique is a technique in which the grafts are removed one by one by feeling the grafts by hand and there is no graft loss.
The main aim of the manual FUE technique is to prevent damage to the grafts and the donor area during the extraction process and to maintain the homogeneity of the donor area. Due to the preservation of homogeneity, even after multiple sessions, the density in the donor area can only be seen by close examination.
Since each patient's head structure, the direction and angle of the hair can be different from each other, a natural appearance is ensured by planning accordingly.
INCISION (CREATION OF RECEIVING INCISIONS)
Incisions are the slots created in the transplantation area to place the grafts taken from the donor area.
Incision procedure can be performed with the Lateral Slit or Sagittal Slit method in hair transplants.
However, although the transplantation process is longer and more laborious, the incision process is performed with the "Lateral Slit" method in our center in order to ensure naturalness in the transplantation area.
LATERAL SLIT
Lateral Slit is an incision made in the direction of hair growth. The lateral technique provides the natural appearance of the hair. Natural hair varies between 10° and 90° angles. With the lateral incision, more density is produced by using smaller incisions.
Hair growth direction, angle, space and depth are extremely important to create a natural look.
Letaral Slit;
- Natural orientation,
- Less tissue damage,
- Close graft placement and
- It creates the illusion of more volume.
IMPLANTATION (PLANTING PROCESS)
Implantation is the process of placing the grafts extracted from the donor area with the manual FUE technique into the incisions made with the Lateral Slit method with special technical tools without damaging the grafts.
